The hummingbirds have arrived!

We have all that you need to keep your hummingbirds fed and healthy while they’re in town, from now to the fall.

Hummingbirds arrived in Asheville in early April of 2023. Because not all the flowers are blooming yet it is especially helpful to feed hummingbirds now. Before you know it, hummingbirds will be nesting and laying jelly bean-sized eggs! They might even decide to nest near your home, making it more likely for you to see them regularly.

Remember, in Asheville there is a chance of frost until around May 15th. While many flowers are blooming, some will be affected by frosts that are still likely to come. Having a feeder helps hummingbirds have a consistent diet throughout their time here.
